A deeply lazy command line solution for automatically cleaning up ~/Downloads on Linux (and probably Mac).
-Depends on `find`, `mv` and `rm`.
-
-`down-shift` moves files in `~/Downloads` older than 3 days into a new folder named `~/Downloads/MM-archived`. (Where `MM` is the current month.)
-`down-shift` moves folders in `~/Downloads` older than 10 days into a new folder named `~/Downloads/MM-archived`. (Where `MM` is the current month.)
+`down-shift` moves files in `~/Downloads` older than 3 days, and folders older than 10 days into a new folder named `~/Downloads/MM-archived`. (Where `MM` is the current month.)
`wipe-down` moves any file older than 60 days into `tmp/trashed_from_downloads`.
+Depends on `bash`, `find`, `mv` and `rm`.
+
+## Setup
+
+Clone this project and put the two executables somewhere on your `PATH`.
+Then add `down-shift` and `wipe-down` to `crontab`.
+Or schedule them any other way you please.
+
+See `crontab.example` and `bashrc.example` for ideas.
